US ambassador commends Nigeria’s COVID-19 response
US ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Beth Leonard has commended the Nigerian government for taking the fight against COVID-19 seriously.
Leonard described the fight against COVID-19 as one which cannot be won single-handedly.
She was reacting to a recent meeting held by President Muhammadu Buhari and US president Donald Trump via phone call.
The US Ambassador described Nigerian health workers as some of the best in the world.
