UPDATED: APC Ekiti Endorses Tinubu for Second Term, Lauds Reform Agenda
The All Progressives’ Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, alongside prominent political stakeholders, has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, praising his leadership style and development-driven policies.

The endorsement took place during a well-attended political gathering at the Ekiti Parapọ̀ Pavilion in Ado-Ekiti.

The motion for endorsement was formally moved by the Senate Leader, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, and seconded by the Member representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Bamisile.
Senator Bamidele described President Tinubu as a visionary leader whose bold reforms are gradually laying the foundation for long-term economic growth and national transformation.
He said the President has shown exceptional courage in tackling inherited challenges and making tough decisions aimed at repositioning Nigeria for greatness.
Rt. Hon. Bamisile emphasized that Tinubu’s leadership has brought renewed hope, especially with his efforts in infrastructure development, economic restructuring, and public sector reform.
An endorsement letter by Ekiti Stakeholders was presented to the national secretary of the All Progressives Congress Senator Bashir Ajibola.
In the same vein, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, alongside political stakeholders, traditional rulers, community leaders, and non-partisan groups, has endorsed Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and his deputy, Chief (Mrs.) Monisade Afuye, for a second term in office.
The endorsement was made during a massive rally held at the Ekiti Parapọ̀ Pavilion in Ado-Ekiti, where party leaders and supporters gathered in large numbers to celebrate the administration’s achievements and reaffirm their confidence in the governor’s leadership.

The motion for the endorsement was moved by the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Adeoye Aribasoye, and seconded by the Deputy Speaker, Bolaji Olagbaju Egbeyemi.

They described Governor Oyebanji as a humble, accessible, and result-oriented leader who has ushered in a new era of inclusive governance in Ekiti.
The stakeholders noted that the governor’s people-centered policies and developmental strides across critical sectors such as infrastructure, education, agriculture, and health have significantly improved the quality of life for residents.
The endorsement vote was conducted through a voice vote chanted by the people at the gathering.
