Update: Sotitobire founder to remain in prison as Court adjourns
Ondo state high court has ordered the founder of the Sotitobire church, Prophet Alfa Babatunde and six other church members to remain in prison.
The presiding judge, Justice Ayedun Olusegun Odusola gave the order at the appearance of the defendants before the court.
The case was transferred from the magistrate court to the state high court.
Alfa Babatunde and six member of his church are facing trail over the disappearance of a one year old boy, Gold Kolawole in the church last year.
When the case was mentioned, all the defendants, including Alfa Babatunde pleaded not guilty.
The defendants bail application could not be heard as the director of public prosecutor complained about multiplicity of the application.
Subsequently, Justice Odusola adjourned the mater till the 16th, 17th and 19th of March for hearing.
Justice Odutola promised to grant the case accelerated hearing.
