Uni Ilorin caps Asiwaju as leading world class democrat

Center for Ilorin studies at the University of Ilorin has described the APC leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as a national must.

The center conferred on Tinubu a meritorious award of excellence as a leading world class democrat.

Director of the centre, Ishmael Jawando said the choice of Asiwaju Tinubu for the award was non-political but a gesture to encourage him.

In a remark, Asiwaju Tinubu promised to continue his philanthropic activities saying he is strengthened by d support he enjoys from the masses.

Asiwaju Tinubu was represented by Dr Raman Adedoyin.

Aladesanmi Oyekanmi reports that the former Lagos state governor made a donation of 5 million naira for the development of the center.
