Tragedy in Ekiti as Couple Found Dead, Police Launch Investigation
The Ekiti State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has launched an investigation into the tragic death of a couple who reportedly killed each other in a violent altercation.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Sunday Abutu, said that officers recovered a knife from the scene after being alerted to the incident.
Report says that the wife cut off her husband’s manhood, prompting him to retaliate with a machete.
He allegedly inflicted fatal wounds on her head, neck, and private parts.
The bodies of the couple have been deposited at the morgue of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital as investigations continue.
