Timothy Adegoke: Hotel receptionist bags two years jail term

An Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo has sentenced Adesola Adedeji, to two years in imprisonment for altering of receipt issued to Timothy Adegoke a post graduate student killed at Hilton honor hotel Ile Ife.

Adedeji was the receptionist that received late Timothy Adegoke when he lodged into the hotel in the evening of 5th of November 2021

She was said to have fabricated another receipt for the purpose of concealing traces of Adegoke’s lodgement at the hotel.

While delivering his judgement, presiding judge, Justice Adebola Ojo, found Adedeji guilty of doctoring the hotel receipt issued to the deceased, fabricating another and concealing of evidence charged against her.

Justice Ojo said the two years should start counting from the first day she was detained since the commencement of the matter.

It would be recalled that the owner of the hotel Raheem Adedoyin and two others were yesterday sentenced to death by hanging for the murder of the deceased.
