Tension as suspected political thugs disrupt PVCs collection process in Osun

Some suspected political thugs today disrupted the ongoing collection of Permanent Voters Card across all collation centres in Ilesha west local government area of Osun state.

It was gathered that residents of the area were at their different collation centres, and suddenly one notorious thug named Dada Ojo and his cohorts invaded ward 3 in Isale Gbogi carrying gun, machete and other dangerous weapons harassing INEC officials and those who are there to collect their PVC.

The suspected thugs also wrecked havoc at ward 5 collation centre at Isokun area also in Ilesha west local government where several people sustained various degree of injuries.

Information has it that residents in the area scampered for safety as the thugs were said to be shooting sporadically and business activities had since been paralysed in the area
