Segun Oni pledges massive infrastructural development
Candidate of the Social Democratic Party SDP in the June 18, Governorship poll in Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni has promised to bring massive infrastructural development to the state if elected.
Oni who made the disclosure in Omuo, Ekiti east local government area of the state, kicked start his campaign across towns and villages of the state, said he will ensure the state witness rapid development during his tenure.
He said if given the opportunity, his administration would focus on key development areas such as education, agriculture, health, provision of infrastructure, and ensuring the security of lives and property of the people.
The Governorship hopeful decried the abandonment of some legacy projects of his administration during his brief spell as Governor of the State, adding that the present administration in the State has failed to ensure the local government area is connected with the National grid to ensure stable electricity supply in the area.
On his part, former member of the house of representatives, Bimbo Daramola who was on the campaign trail said he pitched his tent with the Governorship candidate for his sterling quality.
He pledged to work assiduously to ensure the SDP Candidate wins the June 18 election in order to turn around the economic fortunes of the state through its abundant resources with the right political will.
