We have received 7b naira Paris Club Refund – Ondo Govt

The Ondo State Government has confirmed the receipt of its second tranche of the Paris club refund. This is contained in a statement by the chief press secretary to the state governor, Segun Ajiboye.

The statement says Ondo state got over 7 billion naira.

Ajiboye explained that 32.68 per cent of the money would be allocated to the local government areas, while the state government would receive 67.32 per cent as its share.

The statement adds that 75 per cent of the money would be devoted to payment of salaries and pensions, while 25 percent would be devoted to capital projects.
