Police arrest Julian Assange at Ecuadorian embassy in London
Ecuador interior ministry says Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange has been arrested.
Interior minister Maria Paula did not name the man but said he had been arrested for investigative purpose.
The man has lived in Ecuador for several years and has frequently travelled to London embassy where Assange had been staying.
It comes just hours after Assange was arrested at the Ecuadorian embassy in London.
