Police arrest bank manager over alleged N650m PoF fraud in Osun

Osun state police command has arrested a first generation bank manager Adeniyi Talabi over alleged fraudulent activities.

The Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), Yemisi Opalola in a statement on Tuesday, says Talabi,was arrested for obtaining money under false pretence , conversion and stealing amounting to over six hundred and fifty million naira.

Opalola says the suspect racked the said amount from an illegal product called PROOF of FUNDS from thirty five victims.

The PPRO also notes that the police has launched investigations into the case and assured that the suspect as well as his accomplices would be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.

The suspect according to the release has been suspended by his employer.
