The wife of the Ekiti State Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, has praised the Renewed Hope Initiative led by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as a vital platform for advancing education standards across the country.
Dr. Oyebanji, at the distribution of 50,000 exercise books to primary and junior secondary school students in Ekiti State, highlighted the initiative’s impact on empowering students to explore, learn, and aspire for a better future.
She commended the president’s wife for her support in sponsoring the initiative and for her commitment to improving the lives of school children.
The Commissioner for Education, Dr. Bimpe Aderiye, and the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Prof. Femi Akinwunmi, stressed the importance of providing writing materials to students and urged them to remain focused on their studies.
