People with disabilities groan in Ondo state as world celebrate them today

Today is the international day of people living with disabilities.

The day is set aside to promote understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons living with disabilities.

It also seeks to increase awareness or gains to be derived from integration of persons with disabilities in every aspects of political, social, economic and cultural life.

In this report, Adekunle Adewumi finds out the challenges faced by people living with disabilities and if the government is doing enough to address them.
