PDP’s Kolawole pledges support for governor Oyebanji
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP at the June 18 governorship election in Ekiti state Chief Bisi Kolawole has promised his support to the administration of Mr Biodun Oyebanji.
While addressing newsmen at the governor’s office in Ado Ekiti, Chief Kolawole said that the governor within the few months he assumed office had proved to be committed to the progress and development of the state.
The PDP governorship candidate expressed that the vision of governor Oyebanji to bring development to the state should not be play with bitter politics.
He said that the growth of Ekiti is a priority to all the indigenes hence the need to support the governor.
He however said that his visit to governor Oyebanji has nothing to do with decamping to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.
While reacting, Governor Oyebanji said that he would continue to consult with Ekiti indigenes at home and in the diaspora so as to contribute their quota to the development of the state.
