Oyebanji reiterates commitment to Ekiti varsity

Governor Biodun Oyebanji has urged the management of the Ekiti State University to make the institution more relevant in global academic arena through the implementation of research outcomes.

Oyebanji while addressing the university community during the 27th convocation ceremony said that the university’s ventures should be in pole position of marketing research outputs to the people.

The governor said that the current economic challenges could be addressed if Nigeria Universities lead in wealth creation and human devolpment.

Oyebanji who is an alumnus of the university reiterated his commitment to the development of the institution.

The Chairman of the university’s governing council Prof Akin Oyebode assured that the council would work together with the school management in making it a globally recognized institution.
