Osun PDP suspends factional gov’ship candidate over anti party activities

The People’s Democratic Party in Osun State has expelled one of its governorship aspirant Dotun Babayemi from the party

Babayemi was suspended in his ward, Otun Balogun ward 2, in Gbongan Ayedaade Local Government area of the state

Dotun Babayemi who emerged governorship candidate in a parallel congress but did not become PDP flag bearer was expelled as a result of a petition filed against him by some party members.

The Secretary of the Ward Ogunleye Bukayoin at a press conference held at the party secretariat in Osogbo accused the factional governorship candidate of anti-party activities

Ogunleye also alleged Dotun Babayemi of engaging the party in several legal battles with the aim of truncating the wishes of the people of osun state in the mandate given to the party’s governor elect Ademola Adeleke.

It would be recalled that dotun babayemi currently has a case at the supreme court seeking to sack the osun state governor elect Ademola Adeleke ,as the candidate of the party in the july 16th gubernatorial election in the state.
