Osun guber election: Oyetola heads to election petition tribunal
Osun state Governor and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the July 16th governorship election in the state, Gboyega Oyetola has filed his petition before the election petition tribunal sitting in Osogbo.
The governor submitted the over one thousand pages petition in company of his deputy, cabinet members and party faithful
While speaking shortly after the submission of the petition the legal team lead to the governor on the petition Rasheed Adegoke hinted that the petitioners has fundamental grounds to pursue the case.
Adegoke said he would not reveal the content of the petition expressing confidence that the case will be in favour of governor Gboyega Oyetola.
It would be recalled that governor Oyetola in July 16th governorship election in Osun state polled 375,027 votes against his closest rival Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party who polled 403,371 votes
