Osun govt to issue white paper on Traditional stools
Osun State Government says it will soon issue white paper on some traditional stools whose occupants have not been recognized by the State Government since 2022.
Governor Ademola Adeleke made this known at the monthly meeting of traditional rulers in the state held at the government Secretariat Abeere Osogbo
Some of the stools affected were Akirun of Ikirun, Aree of Iree, Owa of Otan-Ayegbaju among others.
Governor Adeleke also denied of being intentional the recent deduction of five percent from the allocation of traditional rulers in the state
The Governor hinted that the deductions was as a result of fluctuating allocations being received from the federal Government.
The Chairman, Council of Traditional rulers in the state and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi urged the state government to promptly take action on the traditional rulers allocation deduction.
Oba ogunwusi urged all and sundry to continue supporting president bola tinubu saying in no distance time Nigerians will enjoy dividends of democracy.
