Osun Election: APC Leaders Assure Gov. Oyetola of Landslide Victory

Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola says he is convinced that the achievements recorded so far by his administration have endeared him to electorate across communities in the state.

Oyetola gave the conviction in appreciation of large number of leaders, members and loyalists of APC including other well wishers who received him during his campaign tour to Obokun and Oriade local government area of the state

Oriade and Obokun were perceived to be strongholds of the opposition party, particularly the PDP due to the victory it recorded in the area in previous elections.

While addressing journalists, the governor said his priority in even distribution of benefits in all communities, without prejudice, has drawn majority of residents in the area to the APC fold.

Also speaking some APC leaders in the areas Bosun Oyintiloye and Thomas Ogungbangbe said the governor’s administrative competence and magnanimity in infrastructure development are factors that have attracted many to the APC fold, most of those who previously belonged to other parties.

Oyintiloye and Ogungbangbe assured the governor of landslide victory in the local governments in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.

One of the highlights of the campaign was the defection of some members of the People’s Democratic Party to All Progressives Congress in Obokun local government area.
