Osun APC Primary Kicks Off in Osogbo as Two Aspirants Battle for 2026 Ticket

Over 1,600 delegates are expected to choose the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State for the August 8, 2026 election.

Two aspirants have been cleared to contest the ongoing party’s primary election holding in osogbo ,the osun state capital.

They are the immediate past Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and a former member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Ifelodun constituency, Mulikat Abiola.

The primary election will be supervised by the Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, who has been appointed to oversee the exercise.
