Ondo lawmakers warn Okada riders against disobeying restriction order

Lawmakers in the Ondo state house of assembly have warned Okada riders against disobeying government 6am to 6pm restriction order.

The warning follows an upsurge in crime across the state culminating in loss of lives and properties.

In a statement by chairman ad-hoc committee on information Olugbenga Omole, claims that Okada riders still operate till late in the night.

It urges Okada operators in the state to obey the restriction order in the interest of the securing lives and properties of the people

The statement thereafter warns that any further violation of the government’s order will attract severe penalty, as law enforcement agents are on hand to bring violators to book.
