Ondo govt restricts Okada riders’ time of operation
Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has banned vehicles with unauthorized use of tinted glasses and restricted Okada riders time of operation.
Governor Rotimi made this known on his twitter handle @rotimiakeredolu, on Friday.
He says all commercial motorcycle operators are to henceforth operate within the hours of 6am and 6pm.
The governor notes that anyone found flouting the directive shall have his motorcycle impounded.
He says the state has witnessed an unimaginable upsurge in robbery, kidnapping and in some cases murder.
Akeredolu urges all security agencies to confront this development and assures that necessary support in terms of human and logistics aids shall be provided to ensure safety and peace of residents in the state.
