Ondo govt okays bill for change of OSUSTECH
The Ondo state government has approved the bill that officially changed the name of Ondo state University of Science and Technology to Olusegun Kokumo Agagu University of Science and Technology Okitipupa.
The state commissioner for information Yemi Olowolabi made the disclosure during a press briefing at the end of exco meeting at the governor’s office in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
Olowolabi said the change of the university name is to honour the late governor.
The Ondo state commissioner for information, Yemi Olowolabi disclosed that the state government has banned the construction of hotels, beer parlous and joints in Alagbaka GRA and Ijabo estate.
Also at the briefing, commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Juliana Fagbemi announced that the state government has approved the appointment of prince Richard Oluwadurotimi Ayodele as the Onise of Ise Akoko-elect.
