Ondo Assembly calls on Muslim faithful for moderate Eid-El-Kabir celebration

The Ondo State House of Assembly has called for a moderate Eid El kabir celebration.

In a statement by Chairman House Committee on Information Youth and Sports, Olugbenga Omole, Speaker, Bamidele Oleyeloogun urges Muslims to continue to live in peace with their neighbours.

He charges Muslims across the country to continue to pray for peace to reign as the country is currently being threatened by rising insecurity.

While congratulating Muslim faithful on this year’s celebration, Oleyelogun expresses optimistic that with prayers Nigeria will overcome her current challenges.

Also, The speaker says with the new wave of COVID-19, he urges Muslims to be wary of the implications on their health hence the need to be safety conscious.
