Ondo 2024 Primaries: APC members express disappointment on leaders over failure to conduct peaceful guber election

Some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Ilaje Local government have expressed disappointment in the leadership of the party for failing to conduct a peaceful Guber primaries in their local government.

The leaders who spoke with adaba fm said denying hundreds of party faithfuls their right to choose the party flag bearer for the November Guber poll was a calculated attempt to kill Democracy.

Barrister wole Ogunmuleje who spoke on behalf of them said democracy is being raped by those expected to nurture it.

Adaba FM’s Michael Akintunde reports that election in most wards visited in Ilaje did not hold .

Some party members in an interview said they got a report that materials were in Akure the state capital.
