Obaseki accepts APC Nat’l Reconciliation Committee

Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, has accepted the reconstituted APC National Reconciliation Committee.

This is contained in a statement signed by secretary to the state government, Osarodion Ogie.

Earlier, Obaseki and the Edo chapter of the APC had rejected senator Ahmed Lawan as chairman of the committee

He rejects the reconstitution on grounds that it was agreed that it was president Muhammadu Buhari that would set up the committee and not comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

The governor applauded the reconstitution of the committee and expressed confidence that the committee would deliver on its mandate to restore peace and unity in the party.
