NMA expresses dissatisfaction over steps in tackling coronavirus
The Nigeria Medical Association has expressed dissatisfaction on the measures put in place by the government to contain the spread of coronavirus.
President, Nigeria Medical Assocaition, Francis Faduyile disclosed this to newsmen in Lagos.
Faduyile said that the budget placed on health is very low.
He noted that the necessary facilities needed to contain the virus are limited and insufficient.
The chairman, committee on health, Tanko Yusuf says the committee is collaborating with the federal ministry of health and Nigeria centre for disease control to ensure the provision of adequate facilities.
He urged state government to develop capacity in terms of diagnosis, prevention and care centers.
