Nigerian government officially proscribes Shiites in Nigeria
The Inspector General of Police Muhammed Adamu has officially stated that the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, (IMN) led by Ibrahim El Zakzaky has been proscribed.
Mohammed Adamu also said all protests by the movement have also been banned.
He warned that anyone associated with the movement or furthering its agenda will be treated as terrorist and enemy of the state.
