Nigeria seeks US help to tackle unemployment

The federal government has called on the United States to assist in tackling unemployment in various parts of the country.

A statement from the ministry of labour and employment by assistant director press, Rhoda Illya, says the call was made when the permanent secretary, William Alo received a delegation from the us department of labour on behalf of the minister Dr. Chris Ngige.

He states that upgrading the skill acquisition centres by US government will be of immense benefit to Nigeria as it will enhance job creation.

Alo says he believes that US intervention will help to reduce the crimes rate among the youths.
