Again, Nigeria Army accuses NGOs of providing supports to Boko Haram

The Nigerian Army has again accused some Non-Governmental (NGOs) operating in the North East of security breach and sabotage.

It accused such organisations of frustrating the ongoing counter terrorism operations in the zone.

Army spokesman, Sagir Musa said the military established this after the arrest of a Boko Haram commander Mohammed Modu.

Musa revealed that confessional statement by the Boko Haram member indicated that his faction of the sect led by Abubakar had been receiving food and drugs supplies from some NGOs operating in the North East.

He warned such Non-Governmental Organisations against compromising Nigeria’s national security and effort against terrorism.
