Next Ekiti governorship election holds in June 2022
The next governorship election in Ekiti state will hold on Saturday, July the 16th, 2022.
This is contained in a timetable and schedule of activities for Ekiti state governorship election signed by INEC secretary, Mrs Rose Orianrian-Anthony.
The timetable lists February the 18th, 2022 as the date for the publication of personal particulars of candidates and 12 Marchof 2022 as the last day for the withdrawal and replacement of candidates by political parties.
The tenure of the incumbent governor, Kayode Fayemi, will expire on 16 October, 2022.
