New Zealand pushes for stricter gun laws
New Zealand is looking to crackdown on firearms ownership this week.
The move is necessitated by the murder of 50 people in the Christchurch mosques massacre.
Prime minister, Jacinda Arden’s government announced an immediate ban on military-style semi automatic rifles after the attack with hopes of formalizing its action on Tuesday.
The process could take months, but Arden said urgency of the matter will hasten its execution and is slated for April the 11th.
