New Zealand police find body of missing woman

New Zealand police have found the body British woman who went missing in the country.

32 year old Stephanie Simpson from Essex is thought to have gone on a hike last weekend in mount aspiring national park in the country’s south island.

They had earlier found items they believed had belonged to her.

Her Facebook account reveals that she had been living in the Wanaka area since November and was working as a landscaper.

A drone, dog teams, helicopter and search teams failed to find any sign of her on Thursday and police in New Zealand had said the search was difficult due to the size and terrain of the area.
