NACCIMA charges govt on support for business owners
The national president, Nigeria Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, NACCIMA, Hajia Saratu Ilya-Aliu has challenged government to increase support for business owners.
Hajiya Ilya-Aliu described entrepreneurs as the backbone of the economy.
The NACCIMA president was speaking at a dinner to welcome her to Ondo state, hosted by the Ondo state chambers of commerce, industry, miners and agriculture.
On her entourage was the second national deputy president of NACCIMA, Otunba Kelvin Dele Oye, who identified some of the challenges faced by business owners.
Similarly, the co-ordinator, NACCIMA business women group, NAWOG, Mrs Funmilayo Adeojo, said the group has been at the forefront of providing a platform for women to succeed in business.
Earlier in a welcome address, the president, Ondo state NACCIMA, Mrs Olakunle Modupe said the association has come a long way since its inception in Ondo state.
