US president Donald Trump announced the agreement on twitter on Thursday.

Morocco is the fourth state to make such a deal with Israel since August.

US has agreed to recognize Morocco’s claim over the disputed western Sahara region as part of the deal

This has been the subject of a dispute between Morocco and Polisario front, which has been seeking to establish an independent state.
