Miyetti Allah criminalizes night grazing in Nasarawa

Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Nasarawa state says it has banned night grazing, to reduce conflicts between the farmers and herders.

MACBAN’s chairman, Mohammed Hussaini, was speaking at a news forum in Lafia.

He said the association had also banned the use of under aged for grazing. 

The chairman noted that any violation of the directive would not be tolerated and anyone found culpable would face the full wrath of the law.
