Mali opposition groups reject reform offer calls for president’s resignation

Opposition groups in Mali have called for protests, to demand the resignation of President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.

The protest comes a day after the president promised some reforms.

The 5 June movement-rally of patriotic forces said, a promise by president Keita to reform the constitutional court and an offer to form a coalition government were not enough.

Star singer, Salif Keita has asked Malians to join the protests, led by the prominent Muslim cleric, Mohamoud Dicko.
