Madagascar to unravel foiled assassination attempt on president
The prosecutor general’s office in Madagascar says it has foiled an assassination attempt on President Andry Rajoelina, and arrested several foreign and Malagasy suspects.
The diplomatic sources disclosed that two French nationals were among several arrested in the Indian Ocean island nation on Tuesday as part of an investigation for undermining state security.
Razafiarivony assures that her office would investigate the case.
