Liberia’s Anti-corruption Chief Resigns
The head of Liberia’s anti-corruption body, Ndubusi Nwabudike, has resigned.
There were concerns on how he acquired his citizenship.
Mr Nwabudike is a naturalised Liberian citizen of Nigerian origin.
The Supreme Court ruled that he had obtained his citizenship properly, but the debate still persists.
In his resignation letter, Mr Nwabudike thanked president George Weah for appointing him.
The president accepted the resignation and thanked him for his service.
