Lesotho vs Nigeria: Rohr says, Lesotho gave his team lot of troubles

Super Eagles handler Gernot Rohr has explained that Lesotho gave his men lot of troubles in Maseru after their win over the hosts in 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Nigerians came from a goal down to beat the crocodiles of Lesotho 4-2 in the encounter.

Nigeria are now topping their group with six points after two games played so far.

Lesotho took the lead on 13 minutes into the game.

This was before Iwobi levelled the scores for the Super Eagles.

A brace from victor Osimhen and one from Chukwueze ensured a maximum of three points for the Super Eagles.

Awaziem’s own goal on the 90th minute reduced the deficit for Lesotho.

The Super Eagles had earlier thrashed the Republic of Benin 2-1 at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo on Wednesday.
