Kidnapped Abia state broadcaster regains freedom
A staff of a radio station in Umuahia, Chineye Iwuoha has regained freedom from her abductors.
There was jubilation among her colleagues this morning when news of her release was broken.
While details of her release are still sketchy, it was gathered that she was released unhurt.
Her abductors had demanded a N20m
ransom.
Abia state commissioner of police, Janet Agbede, confirmed the release of the OAP.
Agbede said that the kidnappers released her unconditionally as police mounted heavy pressure on them.
