Julian Assange appears in court for US extradition hearing
Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is to face hearing in London today over an extradition request from the United States.
This comes a day after he was jailed for 50 weeks for jumping bail.
Assange was arrested on April 11 after spending seven years in Ecuador’s London embassy to face charges of conspiracy for working with former US army intelligence analyst Chelsea manning
The US wants the Australian whistle blower to be extradite.
