Judge’s absence stalls Bauchi governor-elect’s arraignment
The absence of the judge at the FCT high court, Abuja has stalled the arraignment of the governor-elect of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed.
EFCC had brought up fresh six counts against Bala but he was not arraigned due to the absence of justice Yusuf Haliru.
The fresh counts bother on alleged failure to declare his assets and giving false information to the EFCC.
Mohammed and his counsel and the EFCC counsel were present but the court did not sit because the judge was on election petition duty in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
