Insurgents Abandon Gun Trucks as Fighter Bombard Hideouts

Boko haram and Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) fighters have abandoned their gun trucks as the Nigerian military continues air bombardment of identified terrorists’ hideouts in Borno state.

Several of the insurgents were also killed in the operation conducted by troops of 212 batallion of operation Lafiya dole at Gajigana in Nganzai local government area of Borno state.

A cache of arms was also recovered by troops.

A statement by the coordinator defence media operations, major general John Enenche, says the operation was carried out on Sunday.
