INEC to send materials to Ekiti ahead of Saturday’s elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission in Ekiti state says it will on Wednesday dispatch both sensitive and non sensitive materials for Saturday’s elections to the 16 local government areas of the state.

The state INEC Administrative Secretary, Mr. Muslim Omoleke made the disclosure while meeting with political stakeholders in Ado Ekiti.

Omoleke said the commission will leave no stone unturned to ensure it conduct credible and acceptable elections.

Ekiti state police commissioner, Amba Asuquo read riot to those planning to truncate the smooth conduct of the polls.

He was represented by the command assistance commissioner of police in charge of operation, Samuel Efaifo-Eraele.

The police commission said the police and other security agencies will do everything possible to ensure a level playing field for all political parties.

The police boss urged all political actors in the state to play the game according to its rules.
