Imo Akachi Towers: Reactions continue to trail attempted demolition

Residents of Imo state have continued to react to the attempted demolition of Akachi towers.

Akachi towers is one of the legacies of the immediate past governor of the state Rochas Okorocha.

Meanwhile, reports say the Imo state government has exonerated self from the attempted demolition.

The reports add that if the government wants to demolish the structure it would have done it in accordance with the law.

As at the time of this report armed security operatives were seen around the towers apparently to prevent continued demolition of the structure.

However, some parts of the towers had already been pulled down.
