Gunmen kill one traveler, injure others in Osun

One person has been killed and some others have been abducted by gunmen along Osogbo Ibokun road in Osun state.

The incident happened between 7.30 and 8.pm on Tuesday near Ajembandele, a village in Obokun local government area

The gunmen robbed travelers and shot dead a man while an unspecified numbers of passengers were also abducted

While confirming the incident to Adaba FM in a telephone interview spokesperson of the Osun state police command Yemisi Opalola said the attacker who carried sophisticated weapons killed a person and injured two others

She hinted that the joint team of the police, Amotekun have been combing the forest in search of the abducted persons
