Gunmen abduct former minister Adewole’s son in Oyo

The Oyo state police command has confirmed the kidnapped of Dayo Adewole, the son of former minister of health, professor Isaac Adewole.

Reports say Dayo was kidnapped at gunpoint on his farm in Iroko, Akinyele local government area of Oyo state on Tuesday.

The state police spokesman, Olugbega Fadeyi, said officers and men of the command were in serious chase of the suspected kidnappers.

Fadeyi said the police have recovered the vehicle allegedly used for the kidnap of Dayo in a bush.

He said it is not clear if the kidnappers have contacted the victims family.
