Gunmen abduct farm owner in Ibadan
Armed men have abducted one Oluwole Agboola, the owner of a farm in Nagbede village in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Spokesperson of the state police command, Olugbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed the incident, said the abductors were dressed in military camouflage.
He said search party comprising of plainclothes officers, tactical police teams, vigilantes, hunters, and Amotekun corps were deployed to comb the area for possible arrest of the hoodlums and getting the victims released.
Fadeyi explained that communal efforts have been intensified to complement the existing deployment already in place.
He urged good-spirited members of the public with useful information to contact the police to assist in the arrest of the criminal elements.
