Governor Oyebanji appoints secretaries for 38 LGAs, LCDAs
Barely a week after the inauguration of local government chairmen in Ekiti State, Governor Biodun Oyebanji has appointed secretaries to the 16 local governments and 22 Local Council Development Areas of the state.
In a statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Yinka Oyebode, the governor directed that the newly appointed secretaries should be inaugurated on Monday in their respective councils.
Oyebanji, who congratulated the appointees, urged them to see their appointment as an opportunity to contribute their quota to development at the grassroots.
He said that his administration is committed to the all-round development of the state in line with its shared prosperity agenda and sees local government administration as an effective vehicle to drive development across all towns and communities in the state.
